CAD Drafting & Design 1 & 2

This is a two-semester elective course designed to develop student awareness of the needs of computerized drafting as it pertains to the technical segment of industry.

Through projects, guest speakers, visual materials,and projects the drafting student will be exposed to a broad area of drafting experience.

The student will spend a majority of classroom time working with AUTOCAD computer programs duplicating those used by industry. The student will develop knowledge of drafting techniques in areas of machine technology, engineering, technical illustrations, and architecture.

This class is available to students who have had no drafting. This course is also eligible for college credit through the Tech Prep consortium.
