Advanced Digital Art and Graphic Design

This class will allow students to expand their use of digital media beyond the introductory class. The main software components of this class will include Adobe Creative Suite and Macromedia Suite. Students will receive instruction in Adobe Illustrator and In Design in addition to Macromedia Dreamweaver (Web Site program).

Adobe Illustrator quickly converts bitmap graphics to vector graphics allowing easy manipulation. Students will prepare optimized graphics ready for print, video, or the web.

Adobe In design is the industry standard for designing professional layouts with sophisticated graphics and typography.

Additionally, students will prepare professional quality digital portfolios with Macromedia Dreamweaver.
