Digital Art and Graphic Design

This one semester course where the students will have hands on experience with the aid of computer technology to experience a wide variety of visual culture (the media driven world they live in) and an understanding of it through digital art. Digital art is explored through advertising, subliminal messaging and through the use of digital manipulation and imagery. This course will get students to think critically about what they see by teaching them about the individual self, social and cultural groups and about professional communities.

The students will benefit from a broad scope of activities, which will provide more learning opportunities to better prepare them for their future.
