Finance

This one-semester course is designed to provide students with detailed knowledge about financial business matters, including Spending and Cost of Credit, Protection Against Risks (of owning property, illness, death and economic risks), Making Money Work for You, and Planning for Future Financial Stability. Guest speakers from the business industry will provide first-hand information about specific careers in financial management.

Units for Finance: financial planning fundamentals; financial planning process, budgeting, cash flow, debt management, including the cost of credit; future value of money; insurance, taxation, retirement planning, employee benefits, and estate planning.
