Advanced Multi Media Design

(Dual Credit Tech Prep)

This is a yearlong course. Students will develop skills in designing, creating, and publishing interactive Web sites with animation. Macromedia program freehand, Flash and Director are used to build advanced animated Web sites and simple animated Shockwave games. Highly motivated students will be introduced to the industry standard program 3ds Max for 3-D animation. Students will be taught to create data-driven Web sites while getting hands-on experience with several programming languages and tools used to develop Web-based applications. Along with examining different coding, this course will explore the advancement of web design, as well as timeless problem-solving strategies.
