Multi Media Design

(Dual Credit Tech Prep)

This course provides the tools and skills needed to build a web site from scratch or to redesign an existing site. Topics include wed site overview, planning, designing, and publishing. Students will learn how to develop and create well designed web sites that combine effective navigation with judicious use of text, graphics, and color. Students will use web-building software (Fireworks and Dream weaver) and programming techniques (HTML) to create visually effective web sites. Successful completion of this course will provide entry-level Multimedia Design job skills. Highly motivated students will prepare themselves for CIW and Macromedia Design Certifications.
