Marketing Foundations

Marketing Foundations is a one-semester course designed for students who are interested in learning about business and marketing-related fields. This introductory course encompasses the following topics: merchandising, mathematics, promotion,, distribution, selling, information management, financing, pricing, product and service planning, promotion, purchasing, risk management, and leadership.

Students will be involved in a variety of individual and group "hands-on" project. Instruction will be varied to include: lecture, power point presentations, guest speakers and videos.

Students will also learn the basics of web page design with the use of web site software to include "Dreamweaver", "Fireworks" and Flash. Membership in FBLA leadership organization is strongly recommended.
