Plant Science 3 and 4

(Dual Credit Tech Prep )

This lab science course is designed for students who have an interest in furthering their education in plant science and the horticulture industry. This course provides students with technical knowledge and hands on skills in plant propagation, landscape design and construction, nursery production, as well as, business marketing and plant sales. The class utilizes several local businesses to provide off site learning experiences through class field trips. Membership in the FFA student club is highly recommended for this class. A lab fee of 35 dollars is required for this class. This course is also eligible for college credit through the Tech Prep consortium.
