Mrs. Young

Hi, my name is Heidi Young and I have been a counselor for the Tahoma School District for seven years. Prior to Tahoma I was a counselor on Mercer Island and before that I taught 8th grade Science at The Overlake School in Redmond, WA for four years. I have an 8 year old who attends Rock Creek Elementary School and a four year old who attends Pre School. I like to exercise, be on the water and in the sun and spend time with my family. I graduated from Hazen High School in 1987, received my BA in Education from Western Washington University and my Master’s in Education (Counseling Psychology) from the University of Washington. I enjoyed teaching but my true passion is being a school counselor.
