Mrs. Anderson

Hello and welcome! My name is Marcey Anderson, counselor at Tahoma High School. I love my job, enjoy working with high school students and look forward to working with you. I live in the Tahoma School District and have two kids who attend Tahoma Schools. Kyle is an 8th grader at Tahoma Junior High and Kelsey is in 6th grade at Tahoma Middle School. I am very happily married to a wonderful man, Kevin. My family is the joy of my life and after a great day at work, I love going home to them. We spend our winters snowboarding and skiing and our summers wakeboarding on Lake Sawyer. I also enjoy golfing, hiking, traveling, weight lifting and reading. I received my bachelors degree in psychology/sociology and then worked six years as a family and youth crisis counselor. After returning to school to further my career, I received my Master’s in Education in School Counseling from Seattle Pacific University in 1998. All but one of my years as a school counselor has been at Tahoma High School. Tahoma is a district I respect, believe in and look forward to a long career in. I hope you have a great experience at Tahoma High School. Please let me know how I can help to make your experience even better!
